We hired Basement Remodeling to finish our large (1600 sq ft+) basement less than a month after we moved in. Actually, they came out and gave us a quote before we had even closed on the house. The final project included a kids/teen space, kitchenette, bedroom with closet and laundry, full bath, media room, workout room, and office. We got a few quotes but what drew us initially to this company was their responsiveness and care in working with us to make a vision. Eric went the extra mile to design a space that met all our needs and was willing to work with us through revisions even after the contract was signed. Gheorghe was our PM. We were most impressed by how capable, accommodating, and attentive he was. Shanae was our designer and had some great ideas and was incredibly nice. This company prioritizes customer care in every sense. They made sure things were neat and tidy, and no loose ends were left. Jeovanni was integral in making sure every finishing touch was perfect. Jorge was amazing and a master craftsman. Even the subcontractors (electrical and plumbing) were exceptional. No one hesitated to lend a hand even for things outside of the scope of their duties. A project of this scope is not without some challenges. We were over schedule due to issues not related to the company at all (like permits) but they worked tirelessly (weekends and holidays even) to try to catch up. Even after the project concluded and final bill was paid they are still super responsive and helpful for any little question. I wish there were more general contracting companies with this type of business model and quality assurance. I recommend them unequivocally to anyone looking to update, renovate, or finish their basement.
