We completely remodeled our partially finished basement with BasementRemodeling.com this fall. We tore out all of the existing walls, and redrew the floor plan to create a finished rec room, office/guest room and full bathroom and an unfinished laundry/furnace room.

BasementRemodeling.com also added an egress window (and I wish in retrospect that I'd had them add two!) There were various hiccups along the way, not least because we were doing the project during Covid, but our project manager Eric Campbell was responsive and easy to work with. When we encountered an unexpected structural issue that required putting in a new column and footer, the firm took case of this with the least possible hassle and stress. In the end, while we didn't finish by Thanksgiving as initially hoped, we spent Christmas morning in our new basement.

Four months later, it is our favorite place in the house, and it is nearly impossible to get my sons to appear upstairs.
