Jeovanni Corcio, Quality Control Manager
Jeovanni has been with BasementRemodeling.com for nearly three years, but he's been building things his entire career. He's worked across more trades than most people can name — and all of that experience comes together every time he walks into a finished basement to make sure it's truly done right.
He treats every home like it's his own. That's not a saying. It's how he works.

From El Salvador to the Job Site

Jeovanni came to the United States from El Salvador and started working in construction immediately — his first job was carpet and tile installation. From there, he moved through the trades: painting, drywall, roofing, and HVAC. Each role added a new layer of understanding about how buildings come together and what quality looks like at every stage.
What set him apart from early on was his foundation in civil engineering. He studied civil engineering for three years in El Salvador, and that training gave him something most tradespeople have to develop over decades: the ability to read blueprints, understand drawings, and see how each piece of a project fits into the whole. That knowledge has followed him through every role he's held — and it's what makes him exceptionally effective in quality control.

The Person Who Makes Sure It's Right

As Quality Control Manager, Jeovanni's job is to see what others might miss. He starts his day at 5 AM — coffee, a walk with his dogs, and then straight to his tablet to review the day's schedule and job sites. By the time he arrives at a project, he already knows what he's looking for.
On site, he inspects every detail against code and against his own standard — which is always high. If something needs to be addressed, he flags it to the project managers and makes sure it gets resolved. Nothing moves forward until it's right.
His approach is straightforward: *"I love to see the jobs as if it is my own home."* That mindset is what separates a good inspection from a great one.

What Homeowners Can Expect

When Jeovanni is involved in a project, homeowners can expect the finished product to be exactly what was promised — and then some. He's the last set of eyes before a job is called complete, and he takes that responsibility seriously.
He's also someone who builds relationships that outlast a single project. One of his most memorable experiences is a house he's now worked on four times — across three different owners and multiple companies. The fourth time, when the current owner Brian hired BasementRemodeling.com, Jeovanni told him: *"I know your home. I started working here."* Some houses just keep calling you back.

Beyond the Job Site

Outside of work, Jeovanni is happiest on two wheels or surrounded by family. He loves biking and spends as much time as he can with his wife, daughters, and granddaughters. Family is what grounds him — and what makes the early mornings and long days worthwhile.
He's someone who commits fully to whatever he takes on. All in, every time. That's Jeovanni — on the job site and in life.
