Row house Rebuild , Washington, DC
Project Description:
This contemporary Washington DC rowhouse rebuild project is hip, modern and stylishly urban. Wooden stair steps with white spindles and black banisters pop against a trendy accent wall with white baseboard molding and black flooring. A standalone column adds imaginary boundaries and height in the family room, which is further accentuated by tasteful low furniture, big bay windows, and a fireplace with custom mantle. The kitchen-like wet bar makes full use of a stunning corridor space by flanking it with custom cabinets, hidden LED lighting, extra-wide luxury sink, stainless-steel appliances, and under-stairs storage – topped off with a mini-laundry room in the closet by the glass door entrance.
The second-floor bedroom is replete with full-sized furnishings, muted colors, ample closet space and plenty of light from dual double-hung windows and recessed lighting. An upgraded bathroom features a tiled tub surround, hopper windows, and vanity sink with overhead lighting. A second upgraded bathroom boasts a tiled shower enclosure with glass door, vanity sink, and overhead lighting.
